Guide

Strap Widths

  • 18 mm: Common on slimmer dress watches and many women's watches.
  • 20 mm: A very common size for everyday and sports watches.
  • 22 mm: Often found on larger sports and dive watches.
  • Other sizes: 12 to 16 mm on small watches, 24 mm and above on large ones. Measure to be sure.
Step By Step

How To Measure Lug Width

  • Step 1: Look at the inside edge of the strap or bracelet. Many have the width stamped on them.
  • Step 2: If not, measure the gap between the two lugs on the watch case, in millimetres.
  • Step 3: Take note of the fitting: standard spring bars, quick-release bars or a fixed bracelet end.
  • Step 4: Bring the watch, or send us a photo, and we will confirm which strap fits.
Frequently Asked Questions

Strap Size Guide: FAQs

How do I find my watch strap size?expand_more
Strap size is the width between the lugs, measured in millimetres. Common sizes are 18 mm, 20 mm and 22 mm. Measure the gap between the lugs or check the number printed on the strap or in the manual.
Can I put any strap on any watch?expand_more
No. The strap width has to match the lug width, and the attachment (spring bars or a proprietary fitting) has to suit the watch. Our team can check this for you.
Can you change my watch strap?expand_more
Please call or WhatsApp with your watch and we will confirm. Our strap and bracelet service page explains what we can help with.
How do I know if a bracelet needs links removed?expand_more
A bracelet should sit snugly without pinching, and should move only a little on your wrist. If it slides over your hand or leaves marks, it needs adjusting.
